This is HOPS-315. The James Webb Space Telescope has peered inside a cocoon of gas and dust, revealing a spectacular event for the first time ever. We’re witnessing the birth of a solar system not unlike our own, with proto-planets forming in real-time. Could this discovery finally unlock the secrets of our own solar system’s origin?
